Obedience

We want your dog to learn the foundation of canine training. Our program is divided into four stages: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert.

For three 1-hour classes, you can choose to go to our trainer or vice versa. Please note that there will be additional charges if we travel more than 25 miles outside of Downtown Atlanta. Aside from this, your canine can stay at our facility with the trainer for a week. We will teach your dog to master the following:

  • Sit
  • Stay
  • Come
  • Name Recognition
  • Free Time
BEGINNER OBEDIENCE

Beginner Obedience

This level has five 1-hour classes. In each session, clients can come to this facility, trainers can come to your home, or we can do virtual training. If your place is beyond the 25-mile radius of Downtown Atlanta, there will be an additional travel charge.

Your pooch may also stay at our facility for two weeks. During that time, you will visit for two follow-up sessions.

The beginner obedience training is the elementary level of schooling for your pet. Our trainers will establish a good relationship with your canine while providing a firm foundation. We highly recommend this training level, so your pooch can learn hand signals and commands like:

  • Sit (Extend Time)
  • Down (Extend Time)
  • Come
  • Stay
  • Leash Manners (No Pulling)
  • Name Recognition
  • Crate
  • Free Time
  • Potty Training

Intermediate Obedience

Rates will depend on whether your dog has taken our previous class or not. Clients can come to our facility, trainers can come to your home, or we can do virtual training.

If you are located 25 miles outside of Downtown Atlanta, we will charge an additional travel fee. Additionally, your canine can stay at our facility for two weeks, and you will visit for two follow-up sessions.

Intermediate obedience is the middle school level, where your pooch advances to leash behavior. Our trainer will address areas like dog-to-dog behavior, dog-to-child behavior, dog-to-people behavior, and dog to another animal’s behavior. Whenever your pup’s walking on a leash, he or she will learn to:

  • Heel (Your Dog Will Be Able to Walk by Your Side Only)
  • Bed
  • Leave It
  • Wait
  • Stay With Distraction
  • Go Potty Alone

Advanced Obedience

Costs will be based on whether your dog has finished the intermediate level or not. We provide five 1-hour classes where you can go to our trainer’s facility or vice versa. If you’re located 25 miles outside of Downtown Atlanta, there will be an additional travel charge.

You may also leave your dog to our trainer’s care for two weeks. During this training period, you will visit for two follow-up sessions.

Being in advanced obedience means your dog is ready for a high school level of schooling. We do off-leash training for beginner and intermediate commands. When it comes to dealing with distance, distraction, and duration, advanced obedience is perfect for your canine. This level will get your dog prepared for CGC tests. Other areas of training to be covered are:

  • Working on Leash (Dealing with Everyday Distractions)
  • Come to a Finish
  • Competition Heel
  • Extended Distance Sit
  • Extended Distance Down
